Milton Avalos- I was born and raised in Riobamba about 120 miles south of Quito in the Ecuadorian Highlands. After studying Ecotourism in University I started my thesis in 2004 at Bellavista cloudforest reserve in the Tandayapa Valley where I developed my interest on nature and birds. After finishing my work there I came to the amazon to Sani Lodge in April 2006 where I worked for a year as a naturalist. Since then I've been working around many of the lodges of the Ecuadorian Amazon like Sacha Lodge, Napo Wildlife Center, Kapawi Lodge and for the last 2 years in the Manatee Amazon Explorer. Also birding more intensively in the amazon the cloud forest with San Isidro Bird Ecuador.
